30-day Service Warranty
- Fix MULTIFamily warrants that all services provided by our technicians will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with industry standards.
- All work performed by Fix MULTIfamily technicians comes with a 30-day warranty. This warranty will be in effect for a period of 30 calendar days starting from the date of completion.
- The foregoing warranty shall be limited to defects in workmanship within the scope of work performed by our technicians and which arise and become known and for which notice is given to Fix MULTIfamily within 30 days from the date of completion. Any defects arising after such 30 days are not warranted by Fix MULTIfamily.
- The warranty does not cover defects or malfunction caused by misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, failure to follow operating instructions or use with equipment with which it is not intended to be used. It doesn’t cover cosmetic or incidental damages.
- If an issue has occurred within the 30-day warranty period, Fix MULTIfamily will send a technician back to the property to inspect and assess the issue. If proven as incomplete work and part of the original work order, our technician will complete the job at no additional charge. Once the inspection and assessment prove that the issue was not part of the original work order, we’ll charge a possible trip fee and/or service fee to the owner or responsible party.
NTE or Not To Exceed Amount Policy
- Clients are given the option to provide an NTE or Not To Exceed amount before submitting a work order. The NTE amount should be at least $200. If an NTE was not provided ahead of time, the NTE will be set to the company’s default amount of $400.
- All work orders quoted equal to or below the NTE amount are considered approved and contracted. The work order will be executed the same day of the inspection without prior owner approval considering that materials needed for the repairs are available.
- Any work order quoted above the set NTE will be subject to the owner or assigned authorized person’s permission. If no approval or response has been received from the owner or authorized person, the work order will be put on hold and once approval has been obtained, the work will be scheduled for the next available day for service and may be subject to a trip fee.
- NTE policy does not include any additional cosmetic repairs requested by the property’s occupant/tenant who is not the owner or an authorized person. Some examples of cosmetic repairs that are subject to the owner’s approval are as follows:
- Sink/Bathtub stopper installation
- Bathroom fixture installations
- Window repairs or replacement
- Re-painting of the interior, exterior, or any furniture
- Light bulb replacement
- Blinds repair or replacement
- Appliance repairs or purchase
- Any repair request not related to functionality.
Invoice/Billing
- Invoices will be sent to the client via email after the work order has been verified and completed. All invoices will be set to be due upon receipt. Any unpaid invoices 14 days past due shall accrue interest until full payment is received at 1% per month. Any collection and legal expenses are to be billed to the client when past due invoices are submitted for collection through a third-party agency.
